FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK 2019-2020

Dear Parents, students and staff,

Welcome to the session of 2019-2020.

1998 to 2008 - One of the major Challenges that we had faced was to implement Computer Literacy in the school. Many of the parents were apprehensive of the fact that by implementing Computer Literacy in the curriculum the burden would increase. But later on, the same set of parents had appreciated the efforts made by the school in including Computer Literacy in the school for their children. Children had taken on the Computer learning as fish takes on the water and today many of them are holding great positions in the field of Science and Technologies around the globe.

2009 to 2018 - We at DPS Nigahi have always looked into the future and tried to provide the best to our students. The second decade of our establishment was focused on implementation of Smart Classes. Our school was the first school in the whole Rewa Division to have 20 Smart Classes right from 2011. By 2016 the school converted the remaining 10 classrooms also into Smart Classes and enabled the school to become equipped with 100% Smart Classes. Inspite of malfunctioning of the hardware and software Smart Modules have proved to be a great blessing for teachers to share the knowledge and for the students to understand and learn difficult concepts in an easy and interesting manner. Children of higher classes were also exposed to the benefits of Internet and Live Virtual Classrooms which were directly telecasted from the HRD Centre of DPS Society, New Delhi. These facilities have really helped the students to understand the world in a better way and they have become more confident to face their future life.

2019 to 2029 - If the 1st and 2nd decades of DPS Nigahi revolved around Computer Literacy and Smart Classes the third decade is going to be focused on exposing our children to both the upside and downside of AI (Artificial Intelligence).

The school stands tall now with the best surveillance equipments (CCTV Cameras and Central Announcement Systems) installed all around. We need to instill among our children the fact that human race is heading towards the best of the times ever provided the nuclear weapons are handled with utmost care and the environment is taken care of. Artificial Intelligence is going to change all lives in more ways that we can imagine. The way we eat, sleep, behave, carry ourselves, interact, think and much more are all going to have a revolutionary impact through Artificial Intelligence.

We sincerely look forward to the children of our school to get exposed to the best of Smart Modules and assist them in enhancing their skills with the help of Artificial Intelligence and to make their lives sublime and make them world leaders in all that they would attempt to do so as to bewilder us all in the end with their stories of success.
