bound to continue to meet the expectations that everyone has from DPS Nigahi.
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the session of 2014-2015.
The task of educating the children in the age of technology is both challenging
as well as interesting.
As teachers and parents it is important for us to provide the students the best
technology available and also to ensure that the children are kept away from the
unwanted elements.
With the CBSE at one end trying to provide the students in their fold with the best
educational tools in the form of best syllabi and examining tools like PSA, OTBA,
SGAI and equipping the teachers of all schools under their fold with the ‘know how’
of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) approach and with the guidance
of DPS Society members at the other end, we, at Delhi Public School Nigahi, are
trying to do our best to equip our students with knowledge and skills to meet their
future challenges in the best possible way.
Children of our school are exposed / encouraged to participate in various National
and International competitions.
Our school was the only school in the whole division of Rewa which enabled the students
of classes VI to X to appear in the online National Financial Literacy Test conducted
for the first time by TCS & CBSE & sponsored by All Financial Services Regulators
in India – RBI, SEBI, IRDA, PFRDA, FML in which 142 students scored percentile above
50% and 25 students scored percentile above 90% and got certificates of merit.
33 students in the Senior group and 62 students of the Junior group have qualified
to appear in the Second Level Examination of the in the Science Quiz conducted by
MP state govt.
Five students of our school have qualified the First Level Examination of the National
Talent Search Examination (NTSE) conducted by the Government of India.
Four students of our school have come under the National Achiever (Top 100) students
and a student has secured First Rank in the Madhya Pradesh State in the National
Science Talent Search Examination conducted by Unified Council, Hyderabad.
With the strong financial support from you and NCL we look forward to take the school
to greater heights.
Our next major goal is to get the school accredited from CBSE for which we look
forward to your valuable suggestions and support.
Please go through the Almanac on regular basis and try to remain in touch with the
