It is the duty of school management, teachers and parents to provide the best that is available to the students. It is mandatory on our part to implement the policies and guidelines of CBSE/State Education Board and DPS Society for the betterment of our students.
Dear Parents, students and staff,
Welcome to the session of 2017-2018.
Form the session 2017 – 18 CBSE has given up CCE pattern in all its affiliated schools (18K +) and has introduced board exam for class X from 2018 onwards. In order to enable the students to feel comfortable and to get used to the full term syllabus from VI onwards in class VI 10%; VII 20% and VIII 30% portion of the first term will be included in the Annual Exam and classes IX & X complete portion will be tested in the school’s Annual Exam and Board Exam respectively.
For Classes III to V two semester system will be followed as earlier.
We have tried to provide as many details of the new system as was possible and available.
Hence you are requested to go through the Almanac at least once.
Make habit of going through the school’s website www.dpsnigahi.org and also visit www.cbse.nic.in for information in detail.
With your support we are converting all class rooms in Smart Classes which will enable your students from class Nursery to VIII to have access to them on all working days instead of being taken through them on weekly bases.
In the present scenario of fee hikes all around the country, we are thankful to NCL Management for providing us with huge financial support and not making it necessary for us to take a fee hike.
Please ensure that your ward brings the Almanac every day to the school.
